The Double Action Baking Powder releases carbon dioxide when exposed to moisture and heat, causing doughs and batters to rise. It is all natural and contains no aluminum. Baking powder is perishable and should be kept cool and dry.

Buttermilk Biscuits
- 2/3 cup Buttermilk
- 1/3 cup Canola Oil
- 2 cups Unbleached White Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3 tsp Baking Powder
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
In a small bowl, stir together buttermilk and oil. In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder. Gradually add the milk mixture to the flour mixture, combine until well blended. Shape into a ball, place on a floured surface and knead 4 or 5 times. Roll dough out flat, with a cookie cutter, cut out biscuits. Place 1 inch apart on a baking sheet. Bake on rack in center of oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown. Serve with butter and jam.
